Kohala Nani Holiday House
Kohala holiday house is situated on top of a small hill in a very quiet area at the upper end of Waikoloa Village. This new house will be completed in April 99. We supervised the construction works ourselves. The owner of Kohala holiday house was our first guest in Tradewind, back in 1997.
The location of this house is unsurpassed in Waikaloa Village. The marvelous view extends almost as far as Kona and the Hulalalai range, and from there to the Pacific Ocean and the neighboring islands, or northward to the Kol mountains.
Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, both taller than 4000m/13100 ft, can be seen from the estate. This panorama sounds unique for the region. Here again, the traditional Hawaiian building style (imitating our house Tradewind with wide overhanging roofs).
Living area
The house provides a living area of about 130 sq.m., two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The whole interior is new, providing every amenity such as washing machine, tumble drier, radio, telephone etc. Bedlinen and towels will be provided. The terraces, covering more than 130 sq.m., provide as much space as you might need. You will find a place in the shades at any time of day. The tropical gardens are also well-kept by a gardener. If you have any questions or problems with the house, we will provide you with a contact in the village. Please note that the photos were taken in May 99. The gardens have been finished by now. Flowers and plants grow everywhere. Our first guests wrote, "We will never forget the breathtaking views from the terrace while having breakfast."
