| TradeWind was completed in March 1997 and is located in Waikoloa Village, a small village at the base of Mauna Kea (4205m/13800ft). The estate of 1,000 square meters lies in a very quiet cul-de-sac in immediate vicinity of Palm-House residence, and the parks were designed using beautiful tropical plants. | ||||||||
| A gardener takes good care of the parks. Other plots bordering Tradewind are undeveloped. Almost every direction offers charming views of many a different nature: You can enjoy marvelous views of mountain scenery, with the prominent volcanoes of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa as well as the Kohala mountain range and the Hualalai at Kona, and of course the continuous coastline all the way from the Hualalai range up to Kawaihae and the Kohala mountains. In clear weather you can see the neighboring island of Maui. Your evenings will be crowned by wonderful tropical sunsets. Our house was built in traditional Hawaiian style. It is about 100 sq.m. big and very attractive with its overhanging roof that provides shadow and shelter for the two wide terraces. We made sure to use natural building materials. The interior of the house is very spacious. The comfortable living room/dining room with its panoramic windows provides you with another wide view of the enchanting scenery. We provide a telephone/fax machine for a small fee. The kitchen area is fully fitted with sink, fridge/deep freeze and ice-cube machine, dishwasher, electric cooker with ceran hotplate and oven, as well as appropriate kitchenware and dishes. The modern bathroom has a shower/bathtub. The toilet is in a separate room. The house also has two bedrooms with a double bed each. Bedlinen and towels will be provided. For the athletic type, two surf boards are at your disposal. The guest book is full of praise. One guest wrote, "a single pensioner's life is too short to explore this island." | ||||||||

All prices are inclusive of taxes. The price given is per entire house/flat/property (including all guests up to the maximum occupancy) for a stay of one night. No fixed rental periods, no minimum stay, no seasonal variation in rent. Additional costs: The final cleaning charge amounts to 100.00 euro. A refundable deposit equivalent to the charge of a three-night stay is (payable on arrival). If you use the telephone/fax provided in your accommodation, you will be liable to paying the call charges.
